Garmet has designed and built a hydraulic access system called the Hop Up, having recognised an industry need for a light weight, easy to use piece of equipment for use when working at a height.
The Garmet team enjoys a challenge. When asked to build a balcony for a renovated windmill the only problem was finding a member of staff to scale the building and survey the installation.
Garmet Ltd in Thetford, has invested £300,000 in new equipment including a new BLM CNC tube bending machine to compete with the increased competition in imports from Europe and the Far East.
